Why More Colds in Winter?
WE had a very interesting talk with Dr. Inskeep about winter colds.
"While winter weather is naturally conducive to colds many could
be avoided if our winter habits were not so radically different, said the
doctor. During the summer we are out of doors most of the time and
our diet is more conducive to good headth Fresh air, sunshine, exercise and energy-building
foods will go a long way in the prevention of the more common winter
ailments."
"Fresh vegetables and energy-building cereals, with sufficient meat proteins
to insure a balanced diet, plus fresh air and exercise in other words uniform
habits of diet and activity are the principal contributing factors to uniform
health."
