Following their astounding success
In "Manhattan Melodrama" and, to
a more greater degrees, In "The Thin
Man," William Powell and Myrna Loy
have their third co-starring vehicle
in "Evelyn Prentice," starting today
at the Craterian theater.
The story deals with the domestic
life of a brilliant criminal lawyer,
whose business keeps him away from
his home and family. On the eve of
a second honeymoon to Europe, the
wife becomes enmeshed In a murder
case and the husband Is called upon
to extricate her.
Many delightful domestic bits, per
formed in the charming manner
which characterized the former pic
tures, make "Evelyn Prentice an
other triumph for the popular team.
Una Merkel. Isabell Jewell, Edward
Brophy and many other screen favo-
ltea are In th supporting cast.
