Regular meeting of P.-T, A. was held
at the high school December 14 with
20 members and guests present. The
meeting was opened by the presi
dent, Mrs. Til lie Tlngleaf, Introduc
ing County Nurse Blanche Rimels
and Mrs. R. O. Greene of Medford.
They spoke on the many ways In
which the money from tuberculosis
seals is spent, also the different pre
cautionary measures that sre offered
by the county.
Mrs. Jessie Mlttlesteadt aang a
solo In the entertainment hour.
It was decided to not commence
the hot lunches until the beginning
of the new year, also plana were
made to have the follow -up baby
clinic on January 11. All parents
are asked to make their Appoint
ments for the hours, 1 to 5 from
Mrs, O. E. Ousterhaut, nurse chair
man, clinic to be held In the sewing
room of the high school.
A large crowd of people from Eagle
Point attended the dance Saturday
evening at Lake Creek Grange hall.
This waa thefirst dance of the sea
son and was very well attended.
Friends will be sorry to hear of
the recent death of Ira Tun gate. A
