is to bring about unanimous action
by southern Oregon organizations In
an effort to preserve the distinctive

Last year, when it became known

for an exchange of timber between
the timber owners and the govern
ment, tn order that the scenic gran
deur of the highway may be pre
served. While this has not yet been
consummated, no action hu so far
been taken towards cutting down
the timber, and Chamber of Com
