miles of main aqueducts from lakes and the Tuolumne river to provide 400,000 gallons of mountain water daily. For the first time In history,
a national park, the Yosemlte, Is used as a water shed. More than 81 miles of tunnels through mountains were driven and from water that
otherwise would go to waste 100,000 horsepower of eiectriclty developed.
