P. Geary, now stationed at Camp Car
berry Creek with Co. 866. was In Med
ford this morning, enroute to Car
berry from Dog Lake, where the com
pany was stationed thla summer.
Lieutenant Geary's car turned over,
as the result of a blowout, but he
escaped uninjured.

mer Clonlnger of Camp Steamboat, of
the CCC, Is In Medford today at
tending to business matters at dis
trict headquarters. Lieutenant Clon
inger said today that his car went
over an embankment on the narrow
road and that It was necessary to
get a truck to help him get the car
back on the road.
Sally Cole Opens
In Jacksonville
The Marble Corner, new entertain
ment center, located In Jacksonville,
opens with a big Hallowe'en party
tonight, according to Sally Cole, pro
prietor and hostess,
Sally Cole, former proprietor of
the Gnome Inn, which she recently
sold, gained a splendid reputation
as an entertainer while In Medford.
The swinging doors and the old
bar that the pioneers used will be
In the same spot they occupied dur
ing the gold rush days. The menu
will feature Regal Amber beer, Ital
ian dinners and wines. There will be
music for dancing as well as several
new entertainment features. Sally
Cole says It will be necessary to make
reservations for the opening night.

Craterian Stage
Ohlc Meyers' "International Revue,"
headed by one of the most versatile
bands In vaudeville today, la at the
Craterian theater for today only. On
the screen Is Bruce Cabot and Grace

The Martin Sisters, a trio of charm

and hill-billy numbers.
Virginia Maye adds zip to the show
with her comedy and tap nancing.
Lester Hale's fine tenor voice has
won him a large radio following in
he east and mid-west, and 1 heird
in several ballads.
