At the Town Club
The pleasant autumn weather ha
been Inspiring to thoae who enjoy
entertaining during the fall aeason
and u a result, the Town club ha
been a busy center of activity dur
ing the paet week.
Announcement waa alao made yea
terday that on next Saturday. Octo
ber 27, a masquerade Hallowe'en
dancing party la scheduled for mem
bera of the club, with a midnight

There were forty at the dinner
party given Wednesday evening by
the Badminton club, some continuing
to the armory afterward for the tour
nament, and tho others remaining at
the Town club for bridge.

bridge club Thursday there, and Fri
day Mra. Paul Janncy had a email
group for luncheon.

Lincoln Service club
Invites Public on Friday
The Lincoln Service club haa an
nounced that a Hallowe'en "Fun
rest" will be held at the Lincoln
school Friday night. Oct. 30.
The program will begin at 7 o'clock
with a costume march, followed by a
play, special acta and spooky tralla to
provide thrill. There will be fish
pond, booths where one may obtain
a variety of refreshments, and en
dora will have an unusual array of
balloons.

Is Given Thursday
Members of the Degree of Honor
association enjoyed a Hallowe'en
party Thursday evening when they
met In the club rooms at the city
halt for the aoclal night. About sixty
were present, the majority being In
costume.
Hallowe'en decoration were used
about the rooms, and the large group
enjoyed the fortune telling, he
candy booths and the fish pond.
A prograrh was given, with a piano
duet by Lewis Parker and Luclllle
Seller, and a reading, "A Negro Ser
mon" waa presented by Adabee Seller.

A colorful event waa the grand
march, with Bessie Hubler at the
piano. ,
After the grand march, prizes were
awarded Adabee Seller and Naomi
