cording to W. A. Holloway. Mr. Hol
loway says they will have a large
assortment of canned goods and spec

cans, dozen and case lots. A special

Mr. Holloway adds that this fall the

the desire of the officers to have
everyone, young and old, who baa
attended the school, to be present on
that day, as well as all others who
are not regular attendants at any

lap of Its 14-day schedule of con- j
tinuoua driving, the Hudson Terra- I
plane ruggedness car, "Cascade Ex- '
press." covered 673 miles over a tough,
rugged course, despite delays In sev-
eral towns where parades and public
receptions greeted the drivers.
The "Cascade Express," on Its
gruelling test run. will arrive In Med
ford Monday morning at 9:30 o'clock
for a 15-mlnute stop, according to
Clyde Eakln of Eakln Motor company.
The car will stop at Mr. Eakln's ga
rage at 103 South Riverside. Again,
on Wednesday evening at 9:00 o'clock.

Driving day and night for two
weeks, the sturdy Terraplane will
travel again and again a giant 3105-
mile circuit through Washington, Ore

owner had already been put on the
"Express" in less than six months,
and the present spectacular demon
stration of stamina has chalked up
a new mark In local motoring his
tory. Simultaneous with reports of the
first day's progress la announced a
big slogan and essay contest In which
a new Terraplane and several cash
prizes will be given winners. Con
test entry blanks and Information are
now available at Eakln Motor com
pany and at all Texaco gas stations,
company officials stated. The car Is
equipped with Goodyear "G-S's."
The Ruggedness Run Is unique In
many respects. Only average drivers
are being used during the entire
schedule. Traffic laws throughout
the big circuit will be strictly ad
hered to.
