bout card, when tricky Pete Helens tro,
Italian grappler, matches his brawn
and wits against Bonny Mulr of Aus
tralia. It will be a battle between
two of a kind, as both the Italian
and Australian are speedy, clever and
experienced mat artists, with a taste
for unorthodox tactics.
Although outweighed by the brawny
Mulr, who holds the title of heavy
weight charn olon of Australia, Bel
castro possesses a variety of spectacu
lar tricks which never fall to make
him a tough contender In any ring.
His shuffling stance and swinging
arms are well known In the Medforo
arena, where he has won from many

In a 30-mlnute warmup bout, when
he tangles for one fall with Armenian
Bitrk. Kenaston showed ability In
his bout here last week, which he
won from Jim Heslln of Spokane with
a scries of Sonnenbergs. His opponent
Is also heralded as a speedy grappler,
and with two light and wlrey mat
men, a whirlwind preliminary bout

football team has "gone Hollywood,"
and some of Its players are "toys to
henna-haired film beauties and to
movie magnates," said the student
newspaper, the Dally Trojan, In an '

The Trojans, now en route to Pitts
burg to play the powerful Panthers
of Jock Sutherland Saturday, have j
not been 'Impressive so far this year
and last week dropped a 10-0 decision
to Washington State College here. It
was the soundest trouncing Southern
California had suffered under the
coaching of Howard Jones In years.
Commenting on that game, the
Dally Trojan said:
'It marked the victory of a team i
that plays football for the game's
sake over a team of Hollywood-struck
boys who once knew how to play
football, but having been persuaded
that they are really a 11 -Americans,
now only go through the motions.
The handwriting has been on the
wall for a long time."
The newspaper's editorial, written
by Jack Prankish, said that if the
Trojans could forget the false friend
ship of Hollywood it might defeat
the favored Pitt eleven this week.
