East Main, according to city police
reports, when Bush entered the street
from a driveway.

Cattle Injured Medford city police
received reports yesterday that cattle
belonging to C. W. DeArmond of
Beagle. Ore., were Injured when struck
by a truck driven by Ralph Proctor.

beyond Rogue Elk on the Crater Lake

Molasses Puffs

Sausage Rolls ,
1 cups flour.
3 teaspoons baking powder.
14 teaspoon salt. .
4 tablespoons fat.
'i cup milk.
6 cooked sausages.
Mix dry Ingredients, cut In fat with
knife. Add milk slowly: when soft
dough forms, pat out soft dough until
one-third inch thick. Cut Into six
squares. Place the sausage In each
square and roll up tightly, holding
in place with toothpicks. Arrange on
greased' baking sheet and bake 15
minutes. Serve worm.
Pickle Cheese Sticks
8 toothpicks.
24 thin slices dill pickle.
24 thin 1-lnch slices cheese.
Alternate- slices of cheese and
pickles on toothpicks.
Molasses Puffs
(14 Individual Cakes)
1- 3 cup fat.
2- 3 cup sugar.
1 egg.
1- 3 cup .molasses.
3- 3 cup milk (sweet).
2 cups flour.
1 teaspoon ginger.
1 teaspoon cinnamon.
4 teaspoon cloves.
2 teaspoon nutmeg.
6 teaspoon salt.
2- 3 teaspoon soda.
2-3 teaspoon baking powder.
Cream fat and sugar. Add rest of
Ingredients and beat 2 minutes. Half
fill greased muffin pans and bake 15
minutes in moderate oven. Cool and
frost, -
