police that his house was entered lat
week, and an automatic pistol, kodak,
small amount of cash and miscella
neous articles were stolen. The thief1
apparently entered through a rear
screen door, Kelson said.

Cars Hook Fenders In an accident
Wednesday at 3:48 p. m., on the north
Pacific highway near the Riviera auto
camp, according to reports at the city
police station, a truck driven by
Thonas Heap, 57, of Gold Hill, hooked
fenders with a car driven by Edward
K. Kaveny t Los Angeles. Reports
state that Kaveny was passing Heap's
truck as the latter attempted to make
a felt turn off the highway.
Who Called Foster? Ralph Foster
of 404 Crater Lake avenue, whose
bicycle was stolen Tuesday night from
608 South Riverside, received a tele
phone call he is trying to trace. In
an effort to recover his stolen prop
erty. Foster stated today that he was
not aware that his wheel was missing
until after the unknown person had
telephoned, asking If he had tost his
bicycle. Foster ts anxious to have the
unknown caller again get In touch
with him, by telephoning 374. The
wheel was owned byi the Med ford
Greenhouse, Foster said, and may be
identified by a greenhouse sign.

medical treatment today at the Sac
red Heart hospital.

When the winter camp movement
Is completed In the Medford CCC dis
trict, a series of sub-districts will be
outlined to provide regular athletic
competition between camps.
Since the Medford district will be
too large for all camps to be entered
in the one athletic league, Major
Clare H. Armstrong, district com man.
der, has divided the district Into five
natural athletic "zones." I
Regular competition will be car
ried on In the various sports betweou
the 27 camps comprising the district.
One officer In each "zone" will b
appointed sub-district chairman to
help co-ordinate the sports activity
in his area. Championships in the
various sports will be determined in
the sub-districts, with the champions
meeting for the Medford district
titles.
The sub-district lineup follows:
Grants Pass: Rand, Wlmer, Evans
Creek, Kerby, Gasquet and Oregon
Caves.
Medford: Elk Creek, South Fork.
Applegate and Carberry Creek.
Yreka: Oak Knoll, Selad, Yrelci,
Hilt, Spring Flat, Indian Creek and
Clear Creek.
Mashfleld: China Flats. Humbug
Mountain, Coos Head, McKlnley, Slt
kum and Cape Sebastian.
Roseburg: Wolf Creek, Steamboat.
Bradford and Devil's Flat.

they meet at the bottom. The climb

fascinating adventures.

woman to learn to cook, sew, bake a
cake and take care of babies. ' So she
disappears through the front door of
her own palatial home, and makes
her way to the servants' entrance of
another, masquerading as a maid. It

feur with an inventive turn of mind
whose passion Is a.new type of motor
boat. To win his love, and to make
him capitalize hta Invention without
revealing her identity, become Janet's

"The Lucky Texan" Is the enter
taining story of a college graduate
who goes west to live with hie father's
partner of by-gone days, according to
hla dying wish. When he arrives he
finds conditions disreputable, due to
the rustling activities of a gang of
outlaws. However, a stroke of good
fortune enables them to locate a gold
mine and they thrive on their mining
activities.

Maynard performs all sorts of dar
ing feats practically every conceiv
able adventure In the course of the
fast-moving drama of an honest
