TO SCALEJHIELSEN
Edna Btgatow, daughter of Mr, and
Mrs. Carl Blgelow of Medford Is
one of the few Medford people
who have attempted to scale Mt.

panied In this effort last Sunday by
Miss Catharine Martin of Crater lake,
who managed to ollmb a few feet
higher than Mia Blgelow.
Both young women war not tar
from the summit when they were
forced to give up due to rolling rooks
and poor visibility. It Is not often
that women make this attempt. Un
daunted In their present failure, they
plan to make ft second try next Sun
day.
