We come under the head of the

The reat of the people were on ths

Irrigation and reclamation in south
em Oregon were pointed out by Gov
ernor Martin as being helped by the
new admlnlatratlon, and ha told how
government loans had been made In
the valley, and how the funda had
been cut down so ths people could
live on them, and make happy homea.
General Martin related how the ce

given a contract for the Bonneville
dam, and reminded his hearers that
ths contracts had been given three
firms in Oregon, Instead of California.
The orchardlsts faced small prices,
and It waa Impossible to get money

they did, the banks charged great

were fortunate when the government
could come to their rescue.
The price of gold being advanced
by the administration aided the
miners in the Jacksonville section.
General Martin said.
Normalcy On Way.
Before, the farmers were begging

The general summed up ths pur

this country bsck to reasonable pros

equitably dlatrlbuted.
Russia, Italy and Germany have
lost their governments. They are
ruled by dictators now, as their gov

We must enrich the spiritual Ufa,
