ment. A fire call came In at tour
o'clock from a place on Thompson
creek, and Immediately the lire gong
was rung. It found men acattered
everywhere around camp and a good
many in the ewlmmlng pool, but
nevertheless everyone was soon as
sembled. The trucks were driven out
and everything was made ready and
In waiting for the second call, which
Is necessary before the men are sent.
But the second call didn't come.
The boys from Camp Applegate,
who are stationed at Star Ranger sta
tion had gone at the first call, as Is
