Live Oak Orange at Rogue River
meets In the Olrl Scouts' hall the
first and third Mondays of every
month. Last month Live Oak Orange
voted to have a potluck dinner once
a month and to have a program with
it. Monday ntgl.t, July 16, saw the
second dinner, a scene of keen enjoy
ment, as all who attended laughed
and talked aa the appetizing dishes
of home cooked foods were passed
around.
After dinner a very pleasing pro
gram waa put on. Among the selec
tions was a monologue by little Miss
Combs which described a very talka
tive lady who was attending a musi
cal. It seemed remarkable that such
a complicated and lengthy reading
could be memorized by one so young.
A Scotch burlesque representing Sir
Harry Lauder caused a great laugh
and no little amusement for the
crowd.
Those present related some amus

happened to them and many of these
caused much merriment to the lis
