Reckless Driver Fined C. E. Kllnq
le, arrested last night on Main street
by city police on charges of reckless
driving, was fined 60 and relieved
of his driver's license for 90 days in
city court this morning.
Precipitation Reported Between 8
a. m., and 5 p. m., on Wednesday,
there was a total of .00 of an inch
of precipitation, according to the re
port made this morning by the fed
eral weather bureau.
Visit Relatives Misses Lucille and
Florence Johnson, accompanied by
their brother Melvln Johnson, came
to Medford from Grants Pass last eve
ning to visit relatives here. They
planned to return home today.
Bitten by Dog Billy Barrls, young
son of Lieutenant and Mrs. H. A.
Barrls of Medford suffered two gashes
on his face Wednesday afternoon,
when bitten by a dog at the Apple
gate CCC camp. He received treat
ment for the wounds, which were
not considered dangerous.

day alloted 33,313,680 for construc
tion of 208 projecta In 38 cities. Ha
waii and Alaska.
An allocation of I33.008.883 for
projecta In 30 states and Hawaii and
Alaska was announced late today.
Officiate estimated the projecta an
nounced today would provide the
equivalent of a month'a work for
107.681 men on construction sites and
twice that amount of employment
Indirectly in industries producing
and transporting materials.
The applicants, the PWA said, have
promised that they will atart work
