The meet colorful Shrine parade In
the history of southern Oregon la
promised at 7:00 o'clock Saturday
evening, when Ben All and Hlllah
Templee hold their Joint ceremonial
In Medford. Edward Dell, marshal
of Ben Alt, will confer with H. S.
Deuel, chairman of the parade com
mittee and Director Dade Terrett
Immediately upon his arrival In Med
ford tomorrow morning.
According to present plana, the pa
rade will begin at the Elks' Temple,
on North Central avenue at 7 :00 p.m.,
the line of march being south on
Central to Sixth, west on Sixth to
Oakdale, south on Oakdale to Main,
east on Main to Riverside, north on
Rlxerslde to Sixth, west on Sixth to
Bartlett and north on Bartlett to the
Medford armory where the ceremon
ial will begin at 8:00 p. m.
The tentative line-up of the parade
will call for an escort of California
state motorcycle police and Oregon
state police. Ben All's band will
head the column, followed by the
California temple's drum and bugle
corps, patrol, chanters, wrecking crew
and divan. Next In the long line will
be distinguished visitors, potentates
of other Pacific coast ahrine temples.
Shrine nobles will then fall In line,
followed by the Hlllah band, patrol,
divan, candidates and drum corps.
A number of Innovations have been
planned by those In charge of the
parade and Indications point to the
most colorful display ever presented
to southern Oregon people.

Southern Oregon people and Diamond Jubilee visitors have been invited to enjoy a-concert Saturday afternoon from 2:30
to 3:30 o'clock featuring the famous 65-piece Shrine band of Ben AH Temple. The nationally-known Sacramento Shriners,
under the direction of Robert N. Fulton, are considered one of the best. Shrine bands in the United States and their concert
will be a high spot in the joint ceremonial of Ben AH and Hiliah temple in Medford Saturday. The Ben AH band will appear
in the big Shrine parade scheduled to begin at 7:00 o'clock tomorrow evening.
