IT WON'T BE MUCH LONGER NOW!
Boy Page Mr. Ripley Believe It or Not, but this comin' Sunday and the Diamond Jubilee is ON! Sorta
hard to get the full realization Just caught ourselves biting the finger nails, as we pondered the thought
Suppose Medford doubles its population each day during this coming week; let's see, that's 11,000 popu
lation plus 11,000 visitors totals 22,000 We got that answer easy but we leave it up to you WHERE
WE GONNA PUT 'EM? Think it over-
A lot of folks thought we were kiddin' last week when we wrote an ad about sleeping in the backyard and
garages Well, mebbe so but just plain common sense will prove to us we're gonna be crowded! Med
ford will possibly have that 50,000 visitors for the full week, with possibly no more than 10,000 on any one
day. . We have always maintained this Jubilee was and is going to be bigger than our own Medford peo
ple realize tha' is, most of them up to now.
