Several projects for Jackson county
have baen approved during the past
week, according to the Jackson coun
ty relief commission, which will put
a number of persons now on the re
lief rolls, to work.
There will be an assistant librarian
employed at the Ashland library, and
a number of men are to start work
tomorrow on laying 1380 feet of 8-Inch
pipe for the Ashland sewage system.
Repairs are also to be mode for the
athletic field In Ashland.
The Southern Oregon Normal school
building and grounds will ba fixed
up as part of the program, and two
seamstresses will Instruct women In
sewing for the Wolfsre exchange, tho
