At a meeting sponsored by the
Martin-for-Governor club here last
night, a resolution presented by E. 8.
Veatch was accepted by unanimous
vote. It read:
"Whereas, Willis E. Ma honey came
to Klamath Falls about two and one
half years ago; and
"Whereas, the said Willis E. Ma
honey was elected mayor of Klam
ath Falls on promises which have
not been kept; and
"Whereas, the said Willis E. Ma
honey as mayor has kept the city of
Klamath Falls in-turmoil and strife
throughout his administration and
created 1U feeling and hatred among
Its citizens; and
"Whereas, the said Willis B. Ma
honey now seeks to be elected gov
ernor of the state of Oregon on prom
tsts that will not be kept; be It
"Resolved, the Democrats of Klam
ath Falls duly assembled In lawful
meeting that we hereby go on rec
ord condemning Willis E. Mahoney
and his tactics and hereby call on
the Democratic voters of Klamath
county and the state of Oregon to
do everything within their power to
dereat Willis E. Mahoney for the
Democratic nomination for governor,
and we hereby warn the voters that
If Willis E. Mahoney is made gov
ernor he will throughout his term
of office keep the administration of
state affairs In turmoil and create
