Six Weeks' Session and
Special Two Weeks' Ses
sion Instructors Listed
ASHLAND. May 11. (Spl.) Tha
regular tummer teuton of the South
era Oregon Normal school will open
Monday. June 18. and will laat for
six weeks. It was announced here to
day by Walter Redford, president of
the school, snd Alfred Powers, dean
of the general extension division for
the state system of higher education.
Courses, all to be taught by experi
enced and expert faculty members,
will be offered In art, economics, edu
cation, history, library, music, pen
manship, physical education, piy
eology, science and sociology.
A special session, to last two weeki,
will be of unusual value also, it Is
pointed out. At this time, courses
will be offered In study helps, pri
mary touching aids, literature, con
temporary, drama, health education,
music education and physical edu
cation. Courses In this session will
be taught by the following Instruc
tors: Angus L. Bowmer, English; O
Virginia Hales and Howard A. Hob-
son, physical education: Ida O'Brien,
Intermediate supervisors: Berths a
