Ladlea' Aid of the First Christian
church met with Mrs. Barker for their
regular meeting April IS. Ladles will
hold a bazaar and cafeteria dinner
at the Blue Flower lodge Friday after
noon and evening, beginning at 4:00
o'clock. There will be a fancy work
booth, which should solve the
Mothers' day gift for many. A candy
booth and a fish pond, which always
appeal to young and old. Entertain
ment will be furnished during the
evening. Every one is cordially in
vited. The proceeds are to help raise
funds to reroof the church.
Mrs. Barker had as her house guest
the past week Mrs. Johnson and small
daughter of Klamath Falls.

at the Jacksonville Grange hall Fri
day evening; where candidates, their
wives and friends, were entertained
with a dancing party. Nearly two
hundred friends gathered to meet
snd mingle with the candidates and
enjoy the muslo furnished by Al
Stewart's eleven-piece orchestra.
