death of Helen Miller at Seattle. Miss
Miller was well known In Eagle Point,
having been a teacher In the high
school here four years ago.

the death of Mrs. Ursulu Dean, pio
neer of this section. For 70 years,
Mrs. Dean had been associated with
the people of Talent. She was a noble
woman, always loving and ready to
help the needy, a true friend and a
devoted mother.
