the guy on top is the winner. Frlsble

Billy Edwards, Kansas City headache
specialist, the third and deciding fall
over Paul Murdock, Oklahoma, in the
main event on last night's three
match wrestling card at the armory.
The fall In question came when Mur
dock tried a Sonnenburg that glanced
off Edwards and sent Frlsble through
the ropes, leaving the gladiators to
: heir own devices. Quick to sense
'he arbiter's sudden loss of interest,
Edwards kayocd Murdock with a hard
right to the body. When Frlsbie woke
up and crawled back into the ring.
Edwards was parked atop the Okla
homa boy, with an irate fan trying
to haul him off. There was noth
ing for Ray to do save raise bombastic
Billy's hand.
Murdock pleased the fans by taking
the opening fall with a series of Son
nenbergs and a body press, after
slipping out of several of Edwards'
chiropractic headlocks. Edwards
evened the match In 10 minutes
when Murdock essayed another Son
nenberg. Billy countered with a rab
bit punch, applied his knuckle head
lock and sent the Oklahoman back to
the dressing room looking for aspirin.
Bob Kruse, Oswego plowboy, re
sumed his winning ways in Medford.1

came in 28 minutes, when Kruse
landed a sudden Sonnenberg arid put
Friberg's shoulders on the mat with
a body' press. The bout was minus 1

the main event.
Swede Anderson. Medford, and Walt
Slrtos. France, put on a peppery 30
mlnute bout that ended in a draw.
Anderson showed a new mat "tech
nique" that drew boos from the crowd
and stern reproof from his pal, Referee
Frlsble. Anderson pulled hair, slugged
a little and autographed the French
man's leg with his teeth. Tho Swede
Is learning fast.
Lcs Wolfe, popular Texas heavy
weight, was at the ringside and
challenged the winner of he main
event.
Tin-berry Quarantined Carberry
CCC camp Is under quarantine again
for measles, this being the second
time this spring. Quarantine has
been lifted at the Applcgate CCC
camp, headquarters announced today.
TRACK TEAMS TO
The Southern Oregon Junior high
school track meet will be hold at
Van Scoyoc field, tomorrow after
noon starting at 1:30 o'clock. The
meet Includes the secondary schools
of the county, and at least five teams
will participate. These include the j
Medford and Ashland Junior highs.
Gold Hill, Phoenix and Jacksonville.
h. L. Deal of Grants Pass will prob
ably act as manager and official.
Coach Ray Henderson of the local
Junior high has been drilling the
local squad hard for the contest.

E. J. Grier Takes

from Portland to accept a position
with Heath's Drug store. He succeeds
Jack Hadlgan who is now located
in Lakeview. Ore.
Previous to coming to southern
Oregon, Mr. Grier was associated with
the Powers and Estcs Drug company
in Portland.
