CHICAGO, March 13. (AP) The
evening American, In a copyrighted
itory, today said Moe Rosenberg,
Democratic bou of Chicago's 34th
ward before hta death last January,
had made a statement to the United
States government of how he split
an enormous Income with Chicago,
Cook county and Illinois county poli
ticians.
The statement, said to have been
made at an income tax fraud hear.

Rosenberg's statement said he got
80 per cent of all the utility Junk
business In Cook county and all the
Junk business from the Illinois Bell
Telephone company In the state of
Illinois.
The Junk dealer's story to the In
yestlgators waa that he got the busi
ness by going to see Samuel Insull
himself and "talking turkey."
Whenever a bill unfavorable to the
utility Interests came up at Spring
field. Moe related, he would visit his I
strong boxes In the loop, "take eome-tj

bill would die a natural death.

Christian Church
Services Tonight
The evangelistic campaign .being
conducted by Evangelist D. Loyd Mor
gan at the Christian church will
close tonight. The evangelist received
a telegram yesterday calling him back
to MarysvUle to conduct a funeral
tomorrow. Mr. Motgan had planned
to close the campaign on Wednesday
night.
The church building was crowded
last night for the entertainment of
readings. Impersonations and magic
put on by the evangelist.
By special request, Mr. Morgsn and
the pastor, w. R. Balrd, will sing a
