where he will attend a meeting of
the Aetna Life Insurance company's
organization of the state, to welcome
President Morgan B. Brainard end
his official party from the home of
fice at Hartford, Conn., on his first
' visit to the Pacific Coast branches.
There will be an intensive two-day
school and training course given all
the company agents at the Portland
hotel, Henselman will return to his
office in the Che. A. Wing Agency
next Monday.

committee of Oregon's Diamond Jubi
lee celebration in Medford June third

mur of apparent protest from some
of the spectators.

advised the tax collection depart
ment of the sheriff's office, that it
would pay its taxen for thla county
in full, and thus procure tho rebate.
The tax amount to cloe to $100,000.
The Southern Pacific, with the California-Oregon
Power company. Is the
largest taxpayer In the county.
Corporations generally throughout-
the state are making full payments. In
order to pain the rebate.
To date, 1663 taxpayers of the
county have paid their taxes, moat
of them making full, or three-quarter
payments.
