Master Frank Jackaon in the chair,

Mary Moore acting for Mrs. Dorothy
Steward as worthy lecturer. J. R.
Bowen was overseer tn Roy Moore's
place.
Contrary to usual practice tht busi
ness meeting was held first, followed
Ht short program, after which danc-
:tng and supper was enjoyed.
The first meetlnu each month la
devoted to business but the second
meeting, which Is the fourth Fri
day, la largely given over to social
actlvltlea. the program being empha
eized, followed by dancing and ,

Visitors are cordially welcomed aft

The big epr light at front and
rear of the Orange hall are a great

In fact improvements are going stead
ily forward under the able leadership
of Worthy Master Frank Jackson.
Sister Viola Jackaon and brother
Clyde Ringer are missed from th
meetings and it la hoped they will
soon be able to be back In their
places.
Evans Valley Extension club waa
promised the use of the Orange hall
one Saturday night each month and
one day each month for their danc
and club meeting. This has never
been changed and this Is being writ
ten to clear up a possible m launder
standing. Home Economics club will hold
special meeting at the Orange hall
on Wednesday afternoon at two
o'clock under the leadership of Mrs.
Eugene Moore, during which special
business will be transacted. This club
met at the home of Mrs. Mary Moor
on Valentine's day for an all day aea
sion and a turkey dinner.
H. E. club la the money ma kin
organization of the Orange and Ja
Mrs. Neva Moore, the chairman, they
have a very ambitious leader. Mr.
and Mrs. J. R. Bowen each received
first prize for having the most effec
tive hard times costume at the dance
Friday night.
It waa voted at the last meeting5
that the Orange eend five dollars for
the benefit of the Children's Farm
Home.
Next regular meeting of the H.
club will be held at the home ot

of his favorite cigarettes and a num
ber of magazines.
There will be an apron and overall
dance at the Orange hall Saturday
night March 3, to which everyone Is
welcome. The dance will be free but
a small charge will be made for th
supper.
The people of Evans Valley art
looking forward with great pleasure
to having the Medford Glee club sins;
for them at a very early date, pos
sibly March 23rd. This la an event
that everyone In the valley and nearby
. towns should make an effort to at
tend.
