liquor price, compared with what
was described as an "unofficial price

priced domestic whiskies and gins.
The state liquor stores will open

criticism arose over the prices charg
ed. The control board then met to
reconsider.
The original list quoted the cheap
est blend whiskey at I 10 a pint,
and the obeapest domestic gin at $1
a pint.

the former tentative price Illustrate
the changes that have been made.
Sterling blended whiskey, originally
scheduled at 3.50 a quart, will sell
at 2.9ft; pints will be 91.65 Instead
of 185.

House conference today to extend for
one year the present temporary basis
for federal Insurance of bank de
posits up to $2500.
Depoeltp up to 92500 are now guar
anteed under the new federal law.
July 1 deposits' of 910,000 would re
ceive full federal guarantee under the
present statute.

they could discuss their circumstan
ces, and the events that bad brought

ation. They consumed their meal In al
ienee. Oreene rolled his Isst bit ot
meat In a fragment ot tortilla and
remarkod that be could do with a ,
glaaa of beer, a large one preferably,
but lacking that, a balf a gallon of
spring water would do.
