has broken out In the Carberry creek
camp, under quarantine. Two cases
were quarantined there and are re

Bicycles Stolen Bicycle thievery Is
still going on In Medford with two
bikes missing from last night. Dick
Morgan of 429 South Central report
ed to city police that his bicycle dis
appeared during the night, and Del
mar McKee of 022 West Fourth street
reported his stolen from tho Junior

Roxy Ann Club to Meet The Roxy
Ann Home Extension club will meet
Thursday, January 35, at the home
of Mrs. Lewis, on the west end of
Spring street. The first of a series
of lessons on garment finishes will
be given and each member Is asked
to bring a quarter of a yard of ma
terial to be made Into portfolios for
holding samples. An invitation is

president, which Medford hopes to
make as successful here, as It prom
ises to be In all other cities of the
land, were mofing forward today
with promise of & crowd for the af
fair, which will represent a fine con
tribution to the Warm Springs,
Georgia, Foundation for the cure of
Infantile paralysis.
The gigantic movement, which is
the first of Its kind to spread
through the land for purely hu
manltarlan reasons, is gaining mo
mentum with each day.
Order for another 600 tickets was
made today by Larry Schade, treas
urer of the Medford ball, who will
have the co-operation of a group of
enthusiastic women from the Lady
Klwanlans, the Rotary Anns, the
Lady Lions, the Lady Actlvlans, the
American Legion Auxiliary, the Busi
ness and Professional Women's club,
the Colony club, the Lady Elks, East
ern Stars, the Eagles' Auxiliary' and
the Auxiliary to the Veterans of For
eign Wars In selling the tickets.
A meeting of the genera ticket
committee hae been called for to
morrow evening at the chamber of
commerce at 8 o'clock by C. L. Hop
kins, chairman. Each .member Is
urged to be present. :
People, who are not contacted by
the ticket salesmen, are asked to cal)
at the chamber of commerce, the
Hotel Medford. the Jackson Hotel and
the Hotel Holland, where they will
find tickets available. They" were
