ber of the Walker Cup team for
1934.
Membership on the Walker Cup
team Is one of the highest honors
that can come to an amateur golfer.
The team Is composed of the ten
leading slmon pares In tfie country
and while Egan won the national ti
tle twice over a quarter of a cen-

day. The new establishment is owned

FILINGS SPEEDED
BY ADDED FORCE
To speed the filling out of Old Age
pension application blanks, two C. W.
A. women workers have been assigned
to the secretary to the county court.
and will start work tomorrow.
The typists will fill out the com
plex blanks and ask the questions.
The plan will be of benefit to all
concerned. The old folks have ex
perienced considerable difficulty in
making out the blanks.
.After the blanks are filled out a
check, will be made with county rec
ords and other sources, to determine
length of residence, assessed valua
tion of property, if any, and the abil
ity of unmarried daughters or other
kind to shoulder the responsibility of
caring for the applicants.
According to county officials, under
a strict Interpretation of the law,
only a small percentage will be en
titled to the pension, and then not
for the maximum amount of 930 per
month.
The county (Court, acting aa a pen
sion board, as yet has approved no
old age pension. In a large percentage
of the applications, only a small por
tion of the questions were answered.

the applicant.

Frank Stablnsky and Anthony P. Tet-
rpeky were electrocuted today for the
slaying of 18-year-old Mary Malin
owskt during a robbery In her home
near Wilkes-Barre more than a year
ago.
Stablnsky was 22, and Tetrosky one
year his Junior.
Two holdup murders within three
days were charged against the young
men.
Within five days they are alleged
to have engaged In, besides the two
killings, the holdup of two Hazelton
policemen who pursued them, a run
ning pistol battle with Allentown of
ficers, the wounding of a woman
holdup victim, and a robbery in which
they obtained 9000 In Jewelry after
torturing a Philadelphia family.
