The crop value of fruits and nuts
for Jackson county was 3,942,670;

er, $1,728,047. The Washington
counties represented are Yakima,
mnklng 7th; Chelan, 10th; Douglas,
26th; Okanogan, 84th; Pierce, 45th,
and Benton, 65th. Yakima and Che
lan both gain tfieir high standing by
the apple route.
The six leading counties all are In
California, headed by Los Angeles,
and all but five In the first 20 are
found In that state. Oranges, grapes
and lemons contribute most heavily
to their supremacy.
