The Christmas program of the Bible
school of the First Christian church
will be given Friday evening at 8:00
o'clock. Thla will be In the nature
of a pageant entitled, "These Are My
Friends."
The opening scene Is laid In the
home of Mr. Arnold, a wealthy uncle
of Nancy's. Episodes I, II and III are
laid In the homea of poor families
throughout the city.

the second annual kiddles' commun
ity tree party, to be held at the
Armory Thursday. December 21. at 8
p. m. A large Christina tree will be
the conter of decoration and fisnta
will distribute nuts, csndy, popcorn
and oranges for all the kiddles of 10
years and younger who live In Jackson
county.
The children of the Howard school
under direction' of Mrs. Cora austin
