opening here, with exception of can
dles and horns, will be enjoyed again
tonight.
SCHOOL FOLKS ENJOY
Today was one more holiday for
Medford achoolgoers, who left achool
buildings Wednesday night lor cele
bration of Thanksgiving day. They
will return to booka Monday morn
ing. Although a number of teachera and
pupils took advantage of tbe four
day vacation period to visit In other
towns, the majority remained In Medford.

To protect the buying public, the
United States Food end Drug Ad
ministration haa advised that every
package of cereal labeled "Bran"
state on the label exactly what it
contains.
Before thla ruling, even part
bran products were sometimes mis
takenly referred to as "Bran." It

an ounce, an eight-cent Increase over
Wednesday'a figure.
The new price represents a 25-cent
increase In the last three business
daya.
The new upward movement came
at a time when the dollar and gov
ernment bonds hsd shown atrength
despite the recent rapid rise In re
construction corporation quotations.
Today's figure compares with a Lon
don price of $33.67 an ounce an
nounced on an opening aterllng quo
tation of 16.3014.
