their desire to patronize euch a mar
ket, Mr. Dudley aald today, and he
expect to draw considerable business
from northern California. Several
owners of fat hoge, ready to go on
the market, he added, have also come
to blm with the complaint that they
are unable to move them, since the
local market is supplied. Through
the auction, he explained, these pro
ducera will be granted aoceas to larger
terminals, where the stock oan be
handled.
Sale Each Saturday.
Stock will be sold at the auction
every Saturday afternoon, beginning
at 1 o'clock. When the system gets
underway other days will probably
see the pavilion opened to the sale
of additional produce. Saturday,
however, Mr. Dudley said, will always
be livestock day. In Nebraska, sales
through the auction mounted to oar-
laod lots, 800 head of stock often
changing hands In a day. A similar
turnover, of course. Is not anticipated
here In the near future, but Mr. Dud
ley plana to start a growing project
when the pavilion opens, November
