Fire Damage Heavy During the
nine months' period ending Septem
ber 30. 1933. there were 18 fires In
Josephine county, damaging property
valued at S1S7.011, and with an ac
tual loss of $13,759. according to the
report made by the state fire mar
shal's department Thursday. The
amount of Insurance was $141,37! and
losses were psld, $11,385, with a per
cent of loss to value at 8.33 per cent,
