Lake Creek Grange will give another
dance October 21. These dances have
been attracting good crowds and
have received much favorable com
ment. Music Is by the Butte Falls
orchestra.
At next meeting of the Orange
each member is asked to bring a
carefully wrapped package containing
some article of cast-off clothing, said
wearing apparel to belong personally
to the one bringing It. These pack
ages will be sold at auction, the
highest bidder to receive the article
and wear it for the remainder of
the evening. Considering the rnnge
in height and weights of members
of the Orange, this arrangement
should create considerable amuse
ment. All are requested to come prepared
to respond to roll call, during the
lecture hour, with some type of en
tertainment. Pie will be served for
lunch. Each family la asked to
bring one pie.
October 19 will be clean-up day
at the hall.
Those who attended the loat meet
ing report a particularly enjoyable
social evening. Many new plans
were discussed for entertnlnment fea
turee and miscellaneous work for
future meetings.

.The pupils of the Laurelhurst school
published their first issue of a school
paper, the Laurelhurst News, last Fri
day afternoon. This paper la to be
published every two weeks during the
school term. Pupils working on the
