Laws of Oregon, notice Is hereby given that the County Court of Jackson
County, Oregon, will meet at the Court House. In Medford, Oregon, on Wed
nesday, the 8th day of November, A. D.. 1933, at the hour of 10:00 o'clock
A. M , of aald da; and at the aald time and place opportunity will be glveu
for a full and complete discussion of the estimates of the amount of money
proposed to be raised by taxation for the ensuing year aa published here
with, by any taxpayer subject to auch tax levy when made. In favor of or
against any of t.ie proposed tax levies herein aa the County Court may deem
for the best interests ot Jackson County.
The County Budget Committee for Jackson County, Oregon, baa pre
pared and auomlta the following: An estimate of the amount required for
each de',,artment of County government. County office or County officer,
each County Improvement, the maintenance of each County building, struc
ture or Institution, the salary of each County officer or employee, Including
those whose salaries are fixed by statute, for the Improvement and main
tenance of public highways, roads, bridges, the construction, operation and
maintenance of eacA public utility and redemption of outstanding warrants,
the estimate of the public recelpta of the County from sources other than
direct taxation upon real and personal property In the County during the
period for which auch tax la to be levied and an estimate of he probable
unapportloned and unexpended balancea In the funds ot the County on the
last day of the current year.

Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Elhart and son,
Billy, Mr. and Mrs. Erlo Werln of
Ashland were Sunday dinner guests
of Mr. and Mrs. P. L. Walt. In the
afternoon they drove to the head of
the creek and dug soma choice ferns.
Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Fiene entertained
Sunday Mr. and Mrs. John Simpson
of Medford, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Smith,
Mr. and Mrs. Peter Krause and eon,
Charles Ross of Gold Hill. The din
ner was given In honor of Mrs. Simp
son's birthday and was enjoyed by
nil.
S. A. Dusenborry and son, Arthur
made a business trip to Medford Sat
urday. Mr. and Mrs. Ell la Mathews of
Medford called on her mother, Mrs.
O. L. Duscnberry, Wednesday evening.
Dr. Chlsholm has an air compreaser
drilling and a tractor sledding out
ore from his mine, the Corporal O,
on the left fork of the creek, and ex
pects to open up a good vein of
ore soon.
Many friends of Edith Dusenberry
and Raymond Biles are extending
congratulations on their marriage at
