Report Accident Harry Meyer of
1306 Court street filed an accident

his car was forced from the highway

Obtains Position Miss Nelda Crews,
daughter of Mrs. Lucy Crews of this
city, has been given the position of
secretary of the Spees Manufacturing
company at Sebastapol, according to

the city park on the bank of Bear
creek yesterday, four Boy Scout troops
set up displays, which were Inspected
by a large number of people during
the day. The P.-T. A. troop No. 8 ot
the Washington school was awarded
first place, and the large red and
white banner for the outstanding ex
hibit. Jack Heyland la-scout master.
Other troops exhibiting were 35 of
Jacksonville. Erie R. White, scout

As a surprise fn we. troop 3. which
hsd won as a pe..4..nent possession,
the silver loving cup from the field
meets, presented the trophy to the
scout committee, that It might be
presented at future events. The com
mittee dm not have funds to pur
chase a new cup.
Last evening's program was under
the direction of Larry Schade, presi
dent of the council. First aid demon
strations were given, as were illustra
tions of scout ranks.
