The many friends In the valley ol
Mr. Ed Bleep will be deeply grieved
to learn of his death In Beverly Hills.
Calif, on the evening of October flrat
after a heart attack the previous Fri
day. Mr. and Mrs. Steep came to the
valley about twenty-five years ago
and spent about IS years here before
returning to their former home In
the asst. By frequent visits to their
daughter, Mrs. W. M. Vsn Scoyoc,
they kept up the acquaintanceship
with their old-tune friends.
Mr. Steep waa a man of exception
ally fine character and sterling quali
ties and was a very active worker In
the Methodlat church. Hta keen mind
and ready wit made him a host ot
friends while In Medtord. He Is sur
vived by his widow and two daugh
ters, Mrs. W. M. Van Bcoyoo and Mra.
Ross Oops and several grandchildren,
all ot Beverly HUla, Calif.
