much festivity.
The Formal Dancing club Is among
the first to greet the season with a
real autumnal flare.

Lovely Luncheon
At Presbyterian
Church Tuesday
A most attractive and entertaining
luncheon waa given by the lndlea of
the Women'a Missionary society of
the Presbyterian church. Tueedsy in
the church dining room. Over one
hundred women were present, there
were 14 tables attractively decorated
to represent the many countries In
which the Presbyterian church la
conducting missionary work. Each
hostess gave a brief talk on the
special vcrtc her table wna represent
ing. During the program the fol
lowing entertaining musical numbers
were given :

Studios To Open
In New Location
Plant are progressing toward the
early opening of the Yeoman and
Knight music studios In the house
now under reconstruction on the cor
ner ot Sixth and Ivy etreeta, It was
observed last week.
Voice, violin, class piano, violin
and cello lessons will be offered by
the two music Instructors and prep
arations are under way to make a
local music center of the old dwell
ing house.

cently returned from the east, where

musical life of the valley for a num

ber 10. Mrs. Mary Stlckland. vice
president, presided.
The program Included: Scripture,
Psalms 01, Mrs. A. B. Mead; prayer,
Mrs, Howell; reading, "You and God."
Dr. Carlow; poem, "Living Stones,"
from laat Sunday'a lesson, Mrs. Stick
land. A letter from Mra. Frank Beswlck,
a former member of the class, who
now lives In Cave City, Ark., was
read and enjoyed.
