It has suddenly come to the front In poultry cir cles on this account although It has been used a long time in dairy rations. Considerable In quiry has developed as to what value it has and how much of it can be used to advantage In the mash. The latest experimental work on this matter which has come to our attention Is that recently done In the biological testing laboratories of the F. E. Booth Company in connection with their own products. In these tests 28 White Leg horn baby chicks were placed in each lot and fed and cared lor under identical conditions. At the end of 11 weeks these birds weighed almost two pounds each. The summary of the test itself with formula used and final re sults are given here.
