The petition reads as fol lows: "We. the undersigned residents and Inhabitants and sportsmen of Jackson county. Oregon, hereby pe tition the Oregon state fish and -game commission to, as soon as possible, reconstruct the fish laddera and fish ways at Savage Rapids dam on Rogue river so that the fish, salmon, trout, and steelhead, coming up Rogue river will pass up the flah ways snd over the dam and to the upper Rogue and use such money as It receives from the R. F. C. or other sources as Is proper and necessary for such work.
