have been moved Into temporary
quarters across the highway from
their former location. Moving was
completed over the week-end. Ten

At Snider Cabin Mr. and Mrs. J,
Howard of Loa Angeles are spending
a few day at Mrs. Maude Snlder's
summer home on the Rogue river.
They plan to make a trip to Crater
lake this week also, while staying
there. Mrs. Howard and Mrs. Snider
were girlhood friends in Ohio.

Painters to Meet The painters of
Medfors and vicinity will assemble
at the Jackson county courthouse in
Medford, Friday evening at 8 o'clock
to discuss a code for members of
that profession. This meeting will
be called under the supervision of
the Medford Chamber of Commerce.

spending a two weeks' vacation In

A. F. Sear, a resident of Medford,
passed away near Phoenix Monday
evening, at the age of 71 years. Very
little is known of his relatives, ex
cept that one brother lives in Ne
Hgn. Neb.
Funeral services will be held at
the graveside In the I, O. O, F. ceme
tery this afternoon at 5 p. m. Rev.
J. H. Carver of the Full Gospel church
will have charge of services. Conger
