the Boy Scout building, near the
open-air arena, at 10 o'clook this
morning to take their weight and
physical tests. Amateurs residing
close enough to do so also will re
port, while those from more dis
tant points are to be weighed and
examined In the order they put In

continued to bo a secret last night
when Inquiry was made regarding
those who are to call flstlo balls and
strikes on the huskies as tfiey strive
manfully to turn back the enemy

In number of tickets sold, the
largest sale In the history of sports

at Cleo'a and Brown's. Seats are to
be hid at the two places until the
box office and doora open wide at
the Armory tomorrow night at 7. A
block of 1,000 choice seats are to go
on sale at the Armory vrwn the

Robinson, a comely youngster from

men's western open golf title, a prize
that has eluded the Chicago star for
nine years.
Miss Robinson had played fine golf
throughout the tournament, but was
accorded no more than an outside
chance of defeating Miss Van Wle,
who until today played at the top of
her game. Today, however, the
champion went about her work with
surprising Indifference, and was on
top only until the Uth hole of tho
morning round. The young lowan,
erratlo and brilliant by turns, was
one down at the morning turn, but
steadied and defeated her famoua op

Baseball fans from marv points In
the valley will congregate at the
fairground thin afternoon, where the
undefeated Gold Hill nine will bat
tle the Medford Rogues for valley
supremacy. The Gold Hill squad
have run over all opposition this sea
son rough shod and the embarrass
ment of taking the short end of a
score is still before them.
Medford backers have been request
ed to bring plenty of money with
them, reports from. Gold H1U being to
the effect that their fans are willing
to give odda that Gold Hill will
defeat the Rogues. One wager of 3

Manager Thompson has had bla

shape. Hammersly or Kell will be
