in Southern Oregon Waters
Oood trout fishing la reported on
the south fork of upper Rogue river,
where anyone who can fish at all can
get hla limit in a short while. The
limit on the trout Is 80 fish In a day,
or 80 in a week. They are moatly be
tween five and seven Inches In
length,
Dean 8. Aahton, editor of the Ev
erett, wash., Herald, has written lo

steelhead fishing In tha Bogue river.

Dr. R. 0. Mulholland claim the
honor of catching tha second largest
German brook trout of tha season.
Pishing Crater laka Sunday, he

fished Bybea creek near the Diamond
Lake road Sunday, and got limit
catches. Tueaday, Mra. Hamilton, C.
T. Hamilton and Moore Hamilton
went to Little Butte creek, where
Mra. Hamilton landed three trout,
and Moor Hamilton brought In a
falr-alsed steelhead.
Two California highway patrolmen,
accompanied by their wlvea, were in
Medford Tueaday, Inquiring about
good fishing, spot In southern Ore
gon. They war from Modesto.
P. O. Noyea of San Francisco, who
with Mrs. Noyea la vacationing at
their summer lodge on the Rogue
river, said yeaterday that fishing had
been delightful, and that they had
been aucoeaaful In making aeveral
good catches during the paat week
that they havs been here.
June and Raymond Erlckaon and
Leila Mauldlng apent laat week at
Hyatt laka where they enjoyed fish
ing, and had all they wanted, they
reported. They were Joined Satur
day and Sunday by Mr. and Mrs. J.
P. Brlckson and returned hera the
flrat of the week. Mr. Erlckaon got
the limit of baas and crapplra while
at the Ikke over the week-end.

"enemy" when the blggeat sports
event ever put on In this section of
the country gets under way with a
bang. All of which means gloved
fists will fill the air, the. flatlc fur
will fly. and there will be knock
downs and knockouts galore aa the
warriors tear into each other In quest
of the titular honors.
Dick Hall and Phil Stansbury are
training a team of huaklea at Ash
land for the big meet here. Dewey
Hill Is grooming an aggregation at
Prospect. Mayor W. w. Stockwell.
"Doc" Bailey and Charles Olllette are
coaching a crack team at Grants Pass.
Asll Walker la heading up a powerful
outfit of ear-manglers at Oold Hill.

fight la to begin promptly at 8:15
and the fights will be put on In such
rapid-fire order that not a dull mo
ment will mar the program until It
comes to a close at 10:30.

Charging desertion, Florence Huff
yesterday filed ault for divorce from
Ted Huff.
The Huffa were married In Febru
ary of 1080, and have one child two
yeara old. No property rights were
alleged In the ault.
Twenty dollara a month aupport
money for the child waa asked by
Mrs. Huff, together with 8390 attor
neys fees. Attorney Charles Reames
represents Mra. Huff.
