After winning 15 baseball games in
a row, the Gold Hill baseball team
la now looking for aome outfit that
thinks U can play baseball, according
to a delegation from Oold H1U in
Medford yesterday.
The Gold Hill nine, under the man
agement of Ray Thompson, has pile
up a total of 263 runs against 73 for
Ita opponents. Kell and Hammeraly
have been doing the pitching for the
Gold Hill team, with Gardner, Force
and Coy catching them. Playing
double header Sunday they defeated
the Gllmore Lions, 11-4. and Prospect,
9-8. Next Sunday they play another
double header, Jacksonville and Cen
tral Point.
"Jacksonville will be a push-over,'
Logan Gardner, catcher and second
baaeman, said, "so we got Central
Point to play on the same day. We
can't play 'em both at the same time,
because we haven't men enough. We'll
have to make two games out of It.1
