rapidly disappearing In the rim area,
community house programs are being
placed underway for the summer, pre
senting nightly lectures, moving pic
tures and other entertainment for
the benefit of campera and visitors.
A number of camps have already
been made amid anow banka of the
rim campground, providing novel ex-
perlencea of pitching tents In July
snows, still lingering aa a result of a
76-foot fall last winter.
Programs have already been pre
sented for a ahort time by the edu
cational division, headed by D. 8-
Llbbey, park naturalist for Crater
Lake, for the benefit of guests at the
lodge, officially opened for the season
July 1.
