well to Attend the match at the ar
mory tonight between Al Karaalck,
old bulldog of the ring, and Bob
Kruse, the bad boy from Oswego.
These two gladiators meet on Mack
LUlard's wrestling card for the main
event of the evening.
Krue la well remembered here as
the grappler who Introduced rough
house methods to armory affairs of
the mat. Kruse built up an enviable
reputation for a wrestler the had
every fan In the valley hpolng some
one would crown him with a stove
poker but somehow it never hap
pened. Karaslck may be the boy to
do Just that sort of trick, fans think,
and a crowded house Is expected to
night. Krune and Karaslck will wrestle the
main event a beat two-falls-out-of
three affair, while George Koverly of
Hollywood, 300 pounds, and Scotty
Dawkins, 303, of somewhere south of
the Mnson-Dlxon line, will open the'
card with a 45-minute match, or best
two out of three. LUlard says the
boys are both rough and fast, and he
doesn't expect the match to go a full
4ft minutes, as too much can happen
In that time.
The first match will start at 9
oclock, LUlard announces, the time
having been set back to allow the ar
mory to cool off and the fans to get
In from their evening golf.

NEW FEED MIXER;
Another definite Indication of the
approach of better times la the an
nouncement today by T. K. Samson
that his company Is Initiating an ex
pansion In Its b via) w ad adding new
equipment at once. Mr. Samson re
turned from Portland yesterday
where he arranged for the purchase
of extensive new supplies and a
modern-type feed mixer which will
be Installed at his location at 330
North Riverside avenue as soon as
shipment Is received from the east.
This new mixer will enable south
ern Oregon ranchers, poultry men and
dairymen to have feeds mixed In line
with their exact requirements, ac
cording to F. E. Samson. As soon
aa the new equipment Is Installed
the F. E. Samson company will fea
ture an 'open house" so that south
ern Oregon people may witness the
Interesting process of mixing feeds.
In addition to Improved, and added
mechanical equipment, the Samson
company will offer a more complete
line of feeds and other ranch neces
sities. While In Portland. Mr. Sam
son purchased new complete stocks
of pet supplies, pest eradlcators and
poultry and stock remedies. Already
this material Is being received here
and a constantly changing and fresh
stock will be featured in the Medford
store on North Riverside.

(AP) Walter Hagen, the American
veteran and four times holder of the
title, kept a one-stroke lead In the
British open golf championship to
day by shooting a 73, one under par,
for his second round and a total of
140 for 39 holes.
A rival American. Ed Dudley of Con
cordvllle, Pa., was on his heels with
70-71-141.
Oene Sarazen of New York, the de
fending champion, tossed away a great
chance to overhaul the pace setters
by tnklng 40 strokes for the last nine
holes, scoring 73 for, his second round
and a total of 145, five shote back of
Hngen. A six on the short 11th was
disastrous for the champion.
Snrazen went Into a tie with Leo
Dtegel, who had 75-70 140 and Joe
Kirkwood. with 72-73145.
Duplicating Hagen's great first
round, Abe Mitchell, the veteran Brit
ish professional, gave the gallery a
thrill with a 08, five under par, and
hurdled Into third place, two strokes
behind Hagen and one stroke back of
Dudley with a total of 143. Mitchell
had a 74 yesterday.

mountain for their Sunday morning
round of golf.
