(c) All refunding bond author
ized herein shall be of the same class
and character as the bonds or war
rant refunded and ahall constitute
a charge upon the came character of
revenues, assessments. Men or other
assets that were applicable to the
payment of the bonds or warrant so
refunded.
(d) All bonds or rrant refund
ed as hereinbefore provided, shall be
rerundea pursuant to an ordinance
duly adopted by the aald Council,
which said Ordinance shall be adopt
ed ant, take effect the same manner
as other ordinances take effect. The
ordinance shall set forth the date,
purpose of Issue, interest rate, ma
turity date or dates and the amount
of the bonds or warrants to be re- j
funded after application of such :

CITY LIMiT URGED
TO PROTECT VOTE
All citizens outside the city limits
of Medford were urged today to reg
ister for the July 21 election before
next Tuesday night, when the regls-
ratlon books will be closed to all.
The booxa are already closed to per
son wishing to vote In the special
Medford election, called for June 30,
the state law prohibits the re
ceipt of any registrations within 30
days of an election.
People, who will not be voting la
the Medford election, therefore, have
until June 20 to register. Anyone,
ho has not voted for two yeara, will
be required to re -register. Persons
voting in thla county for the first
time must have been In Oregon six
months to register and In the par
ticular precinct, where planning to
vote, for 30 days, and must be reg
istered by next Tuesday,
Therefore anyone moving from one
precinct Into a new one will also ds
required to re-reglster.
In the July 31 election citizens will
vote on th sales tax, the power bill.
