use of army men In connection with
the C. C. C. headquarters here, ar
rived by train, and other equipment
are expected within a few days, ac
cording to Major Clare H. Armstrong,

time here Friday afternoon, having
arrived In an airplane, piloted by

William Kellcy Parker passed away
at his home three miles north of
Central Point near Seven Oaks, after
several months Illness, Aged 66 yoara
10 months 33 days. Born In winn
bago county, Illinois, July 4. 188T. .
The family came west 32 years ago
from Rockford. Illinois, residing at
Holllster and Santa Cruz. California,
for three years, and for 21 years have
resided In Jackson county He was;
married to Ada Alverson at' Rockford,
Illinois, Octottv 21, 1890, and to thla
union five daughters were born, be
ing survived by his wife Ads A., and
four daughters: Mrs. Helen Brophy,
Bend. Oregon; Leah, Frances, Wylama
Psrker of Central Point and on
grand child. The remains will be
forwarded by the Perl Funeral Horn
to Portland, Oregon, for cremation
Sunday evening at 7:20 p. m.. accom
panied by his daughter, Mtss Leah
